Logical Document Determination (LDD)
At CDS, in unitization / LDD processes, each image file is reviewed and the document boundaries are determined logically by treating physical breaks and key variables as reference. In this way the documents are distinguished from one other. Correctly unitized documents help in creation of accurate database, which saves the time and effort of the end user to a great extent.
Objective / Bibliographic Coding
In CDS’s Objective / Bibliographic coding process, a basic coding is done as per the coding manual developed by the client and the data is segregated into specified fields such as document type, date, subject / title, author / affiliation, recipient / affiliation, copyee/ affiliation etc.
Subjective / In-Text Coding
The subjective coding is a comprehensive coding process; in addition to the standard objective coding, which may essentially include capturing keywords, in-text names and other relevant data from the document text. This type of coding provides scope for customization; indeed made specific to the client's requirement.
